I've built an animation in Adobe Premier, through a somewhat circuitous route. My partner and I drew slides in PowerPoint (easy, sufficent graphics) and also used PowerPoint automation to generate sets of slides that run at 30 frames per second. We converted the slides to .tifs, and then imported them into Premier and sync'd them with a soundtrack. We export as AVI and then convert to MP4 for upload to YouTube.

The results "work" in terms of executing our design, however, the graphics are "fuzzy". There's too much line clarity loss in all the conversions. Part of the problem is the TIF'...I'm going to redo them with JPEG's (and scratch my head over why I picked TIF's to begin with...)

I'd like to try rebuilding the animiation in Swish MiniMax to see if I can get the images sharper still.

However, I can't find an "import folder" option, like there is in Premier. Importing the individual images one at a time is a non-starter, since some of the automation-generated animations have hundreds of slides.

Is there an "import folder" function in Swish MiniMax, so I can pull in many images at one time? Any other suggestions on how to make this work?

Thanks!

...go "Insert/Import Image" - you can import a number of images at the same time just by selecting the first, using the "Shift" button and select the last, they will turn blue and then just import these into your layout - e.g...

...also, you've posted this at the SWiSH Max4 forum, I'll move this to the appropriate SWiSH miniMax4 forum.
