Here in the US, we have a little issue called music licensing (ASCAP, BMI and SESAC - SoundExchange) that will eventually need to be address with this service for those of us using licensed music. Two problems that I see exist, even during the Alpha stage that leaves us broadcasters hanging out there... 1) There seems to be no way to export a log showing song, artist, title of what has been played, and 2) the embedded feature on the player means ANYONE can reproduce the player on their site or post.. taking the control of how the player and music is used out of the hands of the broadcaster. This could be a real legal liability issue when this service is taken to the next level.. or even before.
It would be good to have the ability to "shut off" the embed feature so the broadcaster can control who uses the player/programming. And, we need some kind of logging system to show title, artist etc and when it was played.. similar to what other streaming services provide in case we are audited.
Thanks for your response and thoughts.
This is a great piece of software and service... just needs to be in line with the legal issues.

What are the implications outside of the USA?

None of this is applicable as the service is no longer provided. Most countries honor the same statues you'll prolly have to pursue the matter elsewhere such as where broadcast rights apply in your own country as they may vary greatly.
