Hi there,

I am using SwishMax and don't use this alot, however I am trying to make a simple Rotating Banner ad swf which can link off to the individual links matching the individual banners.

I have added a script to each banner / text with the individual urls:

on (release) { get URL("http://mysite.com/","_blank"); }

My problem (and lack of knowledge) is that the banner rotates however each banner only links to the first url . I think it is something to do with the selection area being the same , but I have no idea how to fix this to achieve my rotating banner ad with links.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this is doing my head in :( :blink: :ph34r:

Regards

...what version of SWiSH Max (Help/About SWiSH) are you using?
...what's happening here is called in general a "bleeding link" and can get fixed by using a "remove" after each changing effect - what are you using - fade in's and out's?
Maybe best to post your swi (editing file) here.

thank You Wolf for your prompt reply, I'm not sure what exact version the About SwishMax says just Swishmax build date 2006.06.29

I have also attached my swi file as well, and yes just the basics - fade in and out.

I really do appreciate any assistance you can provide .

regards

...just place a "Remove" after each fade out effect in the timeline (right-click/Remove) - I've opened your swi with my SWiSH Max but I've only have the last official release 2007.05.24 - so to be able for you to open it, you have to upgrade to that version (it's free) by going to "mySWiSHzone.com" and logging on with your registered email and password and download it from there.
