I'm probably trying to re-invent the wheel, but I've been away from Swish for several years and trying to re-learn the basics. I'm running miniMax3.
I want to build a simple single-sound movie that autostarts the sound, and includes play, pause, and stop controls. The visual display of the movie will be only these three objects. I've imported the sound file and dragged the control_stop, control_play, and control_pause objects into the movie from the components screen. I've managed to get everything working properly except "pause". The sound autostarts fine, and I can use the appropriate objects to stop and re-start the sound. I cannot figure out how to pause the sound and then resume it without re-starting the sound file from the beginning. All suggestions are sincerely appreciated, including pointing me toward any templates or code snippets that might be hidden away somewhere I haven't found. Thanks very much for your help. |

Neat - thanks. I need to study the script. It's been a long time and it all looks like Greek again. Thanks for your help.
