What is happening is when I get a file that is not made in my software installed on my machine, and go to play or test it, it shuts down.
I had the same problem with the last couple of beta's from Max2. I have gone all over my system and it is not here. Question is has others had the same thing and if anything what can be done. It makes it real hard to help people when you can't run their files. Wayne -------------------- Action in Action

"a file that is not made in my software"
What exactly do you mean by that? Can you please upload an example of such a file that causes a problem? Are there any error messages etc? Also please tell us the version of SWiSH miniMax3 etc that you are currently running. -------------------- Roger the RED - SWiSHdeveloper

Rodger:
First off I hit the wrong section this should be in Max3 not miniMax3. Sorry. What I meant was that when I open a swi file that someone has uploaded for checking, if I try to play it or export it for testing Max shuts down. (No warning, error message or anything). One Version is: Version 3.0 Build: 2009.08.31 Other Version is: Version 3.0 Build: 2009.09.18 I will upload one that is now doing it. Wayne,
No problem in the 2009.09.18 version here. Come to think of it,in the past I had a similar issue and it was the naming of the swi file The straight brackets [] seemed to be the problem back then. This might be the problem here too. You might try and change the swi file name and see how it goes. Hans -------------------- In simplicity lies the strength of design
