Hello,
I just bought swish2 and received, yesterday morning, several letters pertaining to my order, but apparently no unlock key. When I bring up the application to unlock, there is a long number in the site code box. When I hit the unlock button, it takes me to the swish site where the same number is listed in one box, then I have to enter the mail address that I used for purchase in the 2nd box, which I do, but when I hit the button, nothing happens. Is that not the unlock key and if not, when and how do I get one?
Thanks
James

Go check ur Email for the unlock key.. it should be there ... copy it.. and paste it on the dialog which appears at the beginning..

Firstly, this is SWISHmax forum, not SWISH v2.
Secondly, this is better raised as a support call .. not for discussion on a forum with other users. They cannot help you here.

Hi,
if you lodge a support call at - http://support.swish...rt.asp?redir=no quoting your Site
code as displayed on the unlock dialogue and your registered email address, they can advise you on what to do and possibly make your key.
regards,
david
BTW....I have moved your thread to the correct forum.

I've prepared a Swish movie for my company's trade show for the past four years. I'm now compelled to find another software and fight to get my money back just because of their damned unlock process which doesn't work.

Yes, the unlock process is a bit strange, but after three days, I finally received an unlock key from swishzone in australia, and so far, so good.
Now I'm worried that the next time I inadvertantly crash my computer and have to download again (happens more than I care to mention -
) I may have the same problem that you are having.
Roger - I may have posted in the wrong place and for that I apologize. Being new to this, I have a lot to learn, but, you are wrong about one thing - at least the other members TRIED to help me...

docmelster...
Did you raise a support call?
Did you go to mySWiSHzone ( http://support.swishzone.com/users ) and get yourself an unlock code from there?

Hi,
your Site Code can change....changes to your OS or registry, or even, in some cases, the installation of new hardware, can affect your Site Code and need a new key.
We make allowances for such technical issues.
Once you have installed the program, there are 2 key generation options available to you -
1) our standard key generator where your key is sent in an email ('spam' filtering often causes problems with this method) -
http://support.swish....com/unlock.asp
2) You can produce a key online through your 'MySWiSHzone' user's control panel at https://support.swishzone.com/users/ .....after you have logged in using the password you first need to create there (if you have not done so already) and your registered email address.
NOTE: You can also make changes to your personal details if your email needs to be changed once you have logged into this secure area.
There are 2 things required for successful key generation -
1) Your registered email address (it must be the one showing on your customer record so the key generator can recognise you as a customer)
2) The Site Code that is currently displayed on the unlock panel of the application you are trying to unlock.
As long as those 2 things are right you should have no difficulties.
