I have other templates over the past years that work fine but I just got this one today and have had nothing but trouble. I am only a novice users so maybe I'm doing something different that I did in the past. Oh the one I bought today was site 213.
Anyway for starters I am getting this debug message. When I try to play the movie the preloader shows loading but never finishes and that's where we end.
ERROR: Cannot find variable or function 'CONTENT' in statement:
Scene_1.siteSpecs::onLoad () {
:: 3: _parent.current_section = _parent.CONTENT["CONTENT_"+_parent.current_id]
Referenced from: "_root.siteSpecs"
Thanks for any help

...you can not test the template from within SWiSH Max - you have to export the swf into the "UPLOAD" folder and test the files there via "index.html", eg from "Tutorial_Site213.chm"...

Test, test, test
After each change, save and export the .swf file for testing. Due to the interdependence of the .swf files you can not preview the .swi within SWiSH Max. Export your Movie to the UPLOAD folder by selecting 'File | Export | SWF' (you do not need to export the HTML). You must export each Movie without changing the file name. When you export, a warning dialog box will notify you that the file already exists and ask you if you want to replace it. Click on 'YES' to overwrite the original file.

Thanks Wolf. I did move to the UPLOAD folder. I think the problem is that I have SwishMAX and I download a new template that is SwishMAX2, yes?
I've tried get a trial version of SM2 but have unlock problems. I have a report in to see what I can do short of buying the new version without trying it first.

..no - site 213 is still SWiSHmax (SM1) compatible - and when you are saying you are testing in the "UPLOAD" folder - you wouldn't get the error message there, eg...
...this will only happen when you try to test the site from within SWiSHmax.

Hi Wolf,
Site 213 is perfectly compatible with SM2 an test it inside on it, load preloader.swi in SM2 set in preferences>Play UPLOAD folder path where are other swf files, and test with CTRL + T and will play site on SWISH MAX 2.
..anyway display percentage is bad with his terrible long decimal number..

...I wasn't saying that 213 is not compatible with SM2 - it's that CBrownell (the topic starter) said...
