I can provide an example of this.
When "Break Into Pieces" exceeds a certain complexity, Max crashes with an internal error, or simply quits without warning.
An example is attached, though it's impossible to say where this limit is for each shape being broken. But it does seem that there is a limit for each shape i.e. above a certain number of pieces, Max crashes.
In attached scene, try breaking it with the following parameters
1) This will crash Max:
Regular Grid;
5 columns,
10 rows;
Allow non-rectangular
Inflate all by 0.2 pixels
Cascade Order - random (last one)
Seed = 0
2) This doesn't crash - works fine:
"Break into Pieces" with same parameters as (1) but with, 2 columns and 5 rows
Can anyone reproduce this?

This problem has been fixed and will be available in the next update build.
