I was woundering if there was a way to change the colors under the sprite switch under background colors. Basically how it is set up is there is only two background colors, you click home and you get one color and the rest of the movie there is the same color for every button you click. What I want is a different color for when you click home, services, contact etc. Basically I tried creating 4 more sprites under the sprite switch and alight them with sections3,4,5,6. But when I click on button for section 3 and the background stays the same and doesn't change.

...to do this you will have to do a lot of complex scripting with the site, what happens here, "main.swf" is the base movie and the only one that has a background that changes a little when going to another section, all other sections are getting loaded into the "base".

Okay then were is the parent at or is that against the rules to post code in bulletins... I think I have grown beyond your control wolf
... See what is happening is in the control somewere it is going to only talk to sprite sectrion1 and section2 down there... I tried adding a sprite then assigning it the job of looking for sections 3 and 4.. Okay it assigns those the background like I want but it flashes back and forth to the assinged color I want with in the frames assigned to it somewere.. Then at menu1 there is a script that tells it to go to frame 11 and stop. I tried making menu3 and assing it to section3 and then telling it to stop at frame 22 and both 11 and the movie just flashes at me. The background still stops at the ones designated to those two menus man...
