Is there anyway to put your jukebox on myspace?

Does anyone have any clue as to how to do this... On my own server its fine... but myspace has limitations.

Any help would be great,

Chris :)

Thanks!

I suggest you look at some of the tuts & invest in "Swishmax Bible". Great book.

If you are a musician My Space provides you with a jukebox if you choose a "music" site instead of a regular one when you sign up. All you have to do is uplaod your mp3 & hey presto! BUT if you aren't a musician, it is illegal to upload songs you don't own the rights to, so there's no point in having a jukebox there anyway.

cheers
Laini :)

regarding relative URL paths ... this is being addressed - and one way or another, we'll have a solution for anyone who wants/needs to load all the files from different folders/locations (keep in mind, that loading from different servers completely - could become a security issue ... which is not something we have any control over)

Regards,
Brian

I'd suggest then (if you want to have a MS Music site), open a new one anyway. Then send a bulletin from your original account, notifying all your current friends of the new profile. Also, include info about the new profile in your original profile & link to it from your original profile. I've seen others do this & I've done it myself. I changed the font size & included photos with links, so it's difficult to overlook. ;-) One more step you can take is to then broadcast comments from your original profile. This should get the attention of those who may have overlooked your bulletin because they either don't check them or they get tons of "train" bulletins. Since most people check their comments & often reciprocate, this may cause them to visit your site to post a comment & they should notice your info about your new site. (Or you can include the info in your comment.) Yet another option is to invest in a "friend requester" program. Use it to request all the friends from your original profile to the new profile.

the esiest solution wiuld just to get a flash player that works. There is not need for me to have 2 profiles its pointless confusing and a waste of time.

Ok then. Whatever.

There are flash players that work on MS, as I have one on one of my profiles. I would assume when you downloaded the trial version of Swishjukebox, you tested it on MySpace before buying it? Because it would have been silly, if you didn't. And since, IME, the Swish Jukebox & associated files need to be in the same folder as the html that references it, I'd be amazed if you got it to work on MySpace.

Well, I've tested the changes we're making to the controls ... and it looks like it will now work on MySpace just fine :)

Here's a sample profile I put together to test with:
http://www1.myspace.com/brian_cadence

So, I hope that will work for everyone :) ... The changes should be ready in the next couple of days.

Cheers,
Brian
