I have viewed a number of posts regarding steps to use a sprite to effect video playback, but I haven't seen specific mention of video file types that can be loaded & played back as video on the page. Could someone please list them?
TIA--

No, although I am aware the answer may boil down to using SWISHvideo. I want to display video on a Swish page I have created. I am aware of the general procedure involving the use of sprites to do this. However, when it comes to the file to be specified in the script that causes the file to be loaded & played, what file formats are allowed? Unless I'm doing something really stupid (always a possibility), I cannot get away with specifying video1.avi, video2.wmv, or the like. I'm guessing that one is to import avi's, etc. into SWISHvideo so they may be reformatted for SwishMax to play on a page. Am I getting close?
Thanks--

SWF format does not load standard video formats.
You would need to convert to swf in order to play inside
swishmax.
Hence SwishVideo
