Here's an interactive map I created,..

http://demo.percensus.com/Imap/

It allows me to add my own markers to pretty much any map, floorplan or whatever,..
and organize them in any order I like,..

It can have an unlimited number of categories and each categorie can have an unlimited number of markers.
Each categorie, -item or -group of items can have a seperate color for easy reference or just to highlight certain items.
I can also add an image for each item.

The map images can be embedded or loaded external.
All data is stored in simple textfiles.

The whole thing can be managed via an adminpanel. Login is in the upper right corner. (admin / password)
Once logged in, simply double click the map to add an item, or double click an item to edit the item.

This is really incredible ;)

I would buy the .swi if it's on your Swishressources website.

OC_Tween is really sweet and all your other component's.

Thanks for the kuddo's and applause guys :)

It started out as a "collectibles / points of interest map" for an Xbox game I'm playing with my nephew.
So whenever one of us would find new things, we could just add them to the map so the other would know where to find things.
But it can be used for a lot of other things as well,...

Yes indeed. It would be very useful for any university campus, or similar.

Should uploaded images be viewable on a marker? I added a test marker at x=17520 / y=15393 (probably in the Aircraft category) and uploaded a png file which shows OK when previewed from the upload dialogue, but the marker just has a label and position.

In admin mode you can view it via the upload dialoge, in normal mode you can view it by clicking the marker.
I'll probly add a thumbnail to the tooltip also,...

Excellent example of how well design can meet functionality!

props to ya outcast this is really sick. I seen another application for this.

Artists that use flash to display their digital portfolios are plentiful! There's a good sized market right there.

Display portfolio pieces can be difficult depending on the allowable content space and ingenuity of the flash developer. I've just finished my portfolio and tried to emphasize my showcase of work. My design maximizes the viewing space of my portfolio which rocks but still I have had to resort to a scrolling bar to allow users to view all the material. It's clunky and unappealing. What you have on the merits of just displaying a single non interactive static image is ground up in terms of a solution to displaying portfolios.

Are you releasing this soon? I've just finished my portfolio and would love to represent it in my display of project pieces. BreedingGround.ca

If your not releasing it I'd be willing to pay for a licence to use policy.

let me know dude, I would love to implement this in my portfolio

That's just an adjusted version of my OC_dragEase Proto

I'll probly add both to my wesbite soon,..

But what about zoom in/out?
Well for vectorimages that would work, but .jpg's etc. would look pixelated when scaled,
therefor the minimap, cause that works both ways.
