I don't know SWISH at all but bought a template because it was easy enough to just edit the text in the .html file. There are two things I can't do and I'm wondering if it means I'm going to have to dive in a learn SWISH :)

1. I can't type a "&" in the text or it treats it as the text ending values...

2. I can't type in complex HTML such as an OBJECT attribute - perhaps this is because the code within the OBJECT contains a "&"

Any advice on this? Am I missing something simple or is the template not going to be as easy as I suspected?

Thanks!

...if you are meaning that you can not use "&" in an external text - Use %26 in the text file rather than the "&"...

%26 worked great for my straight text - thanks!

My object still isn't rendering though - is it possible to put that straight into the text fields or do I have to do that through SWISH? I tried changing the & in the object attribute to %26 but that didn't help.

I'm trying to call the flash media player so I guess I can't do that from a text field - too much nesting of Flash?

...you better contact support there, it is almost impossible to see what's going on and giving advise without viewing the editing files (swi) and to post these here, I'm sure, would contravene the copyrights, it would with SWiSHzone's Templates.
